We won’t lie to you.. summertime in Morzine is our favourite! Long sunny days, lake swimming, paddle-boarding, mountain biking, refuge hikes and so much more. It’s a wonderland of endless days of adventures for all ages.
Here are some of our favourite activities in and around Morzine that we’d love to share with you
Located in Avoriaz itself, Aquariaz is more of a fun pool than a swimming pool with a lazy river, water slide, children’s paddling pool and water cannons, rope swing and outdoor hot tub overlooking the Morzine valley.
Summer 24 – Opens on 29th June and closes on 30th August. Open every day 1.30pm -7.30pm.
Entry is free of charge with the Multipass.
To get there you can drive or take one of the shuttle buses from the centre of Morzine out to the Prodain lift that takes you directly up into Avoriaz, from there you can walk across to the pool itself.
Fully guided hiking in and around Morzine. Half days, full days and multi-day options available. They also offer certain weeks in the summer with special retreats and events.
From the bottom of the Pleney take the chair lift up and make your way down the tracks winding the Pleney slopes.
Younger children can enjoy the luge on the laps of their parents. Discount available for Multipass card holders.
Play at being Tarzan above the Parcs Dereches in Morzine. Children from 2 years old can enjoy the tree top adventure.
There are 3 different course routes available depending on height.
Also check out the new Spider net course located next to the High Ropes. A harness -free activity in the trees – minimum age 4 years old.
Morzine has 8 all weather tennis courts available to be booked during the summer months. You can hire racquets and there is a cafe on site.
Lessons are also available when booked in advance.
Set on the beautiful riverside path of the Parc Des Dereches in Morzine Morzine Horse Riding School offers lessons for beginners and advanced riders. Little kids can take a pony trek around the dappled shade river path.
Feeling brave? then descend down a gorge, jumping, abseiling or swimming for an action packed few hours of canyoning. Or if you feel you’d like to be in at the deep then choose to raft or hydrospeed down the river Dranse. Whatever you decide, Frogs Rafting will ensure that your holiday is one to remember. Kids from 8 years old can go in the raft too.

Being flown by an instructor, you take off from one of the peaks in Morzine. Your tandem flight will take in the views from a new angle. Choose the headcam video option for a great souvenir.
Morzine tourist office produces a walking guide each summer which is full of accessible routes that range from simple 1 hours walks to longer and steeper 4 hour hikes. A great range of options for all levels.
Our favourite place to visit in the summer. There is so much to do, set with such an amazing backdrop. You can swim, paddle-board or kayak, take a pony ride, play mini golf, sit and have a picnic or lunch in one of the restaurants or simply just lay and relax.
From Chatel, fly across the hamlet of Plaine-Dranse on two cables each over 2km long, at speeds of up to 100kmph.
One to make all the family smile. Walk, run, slide and splash around for 45 minutes on a large inflatable obstacle course, all set in the beautiful mountain on Les Gets lake. There are 2 inflatables, one for smaller kids 4-7 years and the larger one for anyone above 1m20!
Open inside and out all summer everyday from 10am – 8pm. There is a lovely cafe overlooking the pools which serves coffee, lunches, ice creams and smoothies. A little pricey but nice for a treat!
